Wellington Agency Appoints Chief Vibe Officer to Tame ‘Chaotic Wednesday Energy’

WELLINGTON, May 15 — In a bold move aimed at optimising office morale and, by extension, client deliverables, boutique agency Spritz & Crumb has introduced a new executive position: Chief Vibe Officer (CVO). Olivia D’Angelo, a former DJ and current breathwork facilitator with no formal marketing experience, has been appointed to the role effective immediately.
“Our Q2 reflection circles revealed that energy flow was noticeably fractured by mid-week,” said Managing Director Caleb Smythe while lighting a fig-scented candle. “One Account Manager described Wednesday as ‘a psychological bottleneck between vintage enthusiasm and depressive pragmatism.’ We knew we had to act.”
D’Angelo’s remit will include managing the agency’s controversial Mood Index, a weekly data dashboard powered by geotagged Slack emojis and the ambient tone of the kitchen Sonos. Early pilot programmes have already seen success, including Gratitude Gong Hour and the aggressively enforced ‘Silent Chai Ten’ at 10:15am every Thursday.
Spritz & Crumb’s clients have expressed cautious optimism. One FMCG brand manager noted that since the CVO’s first day, emails from the agency have included fewer exclamation marks and a 17% reduction in passive-aggressive sign-offs such as “per my last email.”
The agency is planning further investments into energy modulation, including an on-site moss wall and a team-wide Eye Gazing Friday ritual. As for how success will be measured, Smythe explained, “We’re less about KPIs and more about KIFs — Key Internal Feelings.”
