Agency Launches AI That Rejects Your Idea Before The Client Can

Independent shop North Anchor Communications Lab has unveiled RealityCheckr, an artificial intelligence tool designed to simulate the exact moment a perfectly good idea dies in a meeting. The system analyses thousands of historic campaign post‑mortems, procurement emails, and the sentence "can we make the logo bigger" to predict rejection up to six weeks earlier than usual.

According to the agency, RealityCheckr recreates a full digital approval room. It includes the cautious brand manager, the legal advisor who just discovered risk, the finance lead who says "do we need the fun part", and the founder’s cousin who once took a night class in marketing. The model then gently shuts the idea down before any time is wasted making mood boards.

Early trials inside the agency have been promising. A campaign involving an ambitious inflatable vegetable installation was rejected by the AI in 0.8 seconds. A thoughtful long‑term brand platform lasted eleven minutes before the system asked if it could instead be "a quick social thing". Staff report the tool has reduced emotional attachment to creative work by 63 percent.

The company has also released a public prompt for agencies wanting to test their own ideas. "Act as five cautious stakeholders who are tired and holding a lukewarm meeting biscuit. Review this campaign idea and explain why it should become a smaller digital activation." North Anchor says the prompt reflects where the industry is heading, faster disappointment, earlier compromise, and far fewer afternoons wasted pretending the big idea might survive.
